Hello,

I'm coming to the Harz tour on April 2nd from Belgium. I will be doing about 300 km on the A2. What is the maximum speed I may go there? I've read 120 km/u, somewhere else 140 km/u , no limits??? so what is it? I need to calculate how much time I need to get there

the problem is I had to know which route you take exactly. Parts of the A2 are speed limited, others are not. It´s a mix of both ... At the area of Rheda-Wiedenbrück (i.e.) you may go with unlimited speed - but note, there are a lot of road works along this highway ... send me your route, where you start - we will find out, what time you need - estimated of course
The A2 is one of the most used freeways in Germany - especially in Northrine-Westfalia ... try to beware the rushhours, that is the hell ...

Post my route here, because on the *other* forum, the "image-posting" doesn't work yet...

Anyhow, I just punched in my routeplanner: Heist op den Berg, Belgium to Wernigrode, Germany and he come up with this. (foto 1)

Do you think there is a lot of traffic on saturday morning?

I could also go I think via the A44 until Kassel and then take the A7 (foto 2) if that would be easier... all tips are welcome!!
