Hi, I hope it's okay to write in English on this forum.
I have a BMW Z4 E85(left hand-drive car) where the electric power steering failed, no communication with the ECU through Inpa or Ista-P.
I bought a used eletric power steering unit from Ebay where the seller claimed that it's in full working condition. I can communicate with the ecu and coding/programming through Ista-P worked fine and also the adjust of steering angle. There are no control lamps illuminated on the dash when starting the car.
As soon as I touch the steering wheel slighly, the steering wheel moves by itself in a very quick speed and almost shakes also. When this happen, there is a DTC 611B. I have no clue about how to proceed from here when it comes to terms of diagnostic.
Anyone on this forum that has had this or similar issues before and what the solution were?
