trying to make this as short as possible so here I go

I just got a need job that requires me to commute, my truck has been my baby for about 5 years.

Toyota Tundra 2002 TRD V8 4.7L extended cab

I got sideswiped by another car and it crunched my driver side real panel, along with the front driver side panel and my bumper. The front panel and bumper were replaced but nothing fixed so far on the back side. Pretty big dent along with some deep scratches.

The frame was bent along with that, so that's a big negative. Besides that it runs great, clean title. 150k miles

I test drove the guys BMW today and I really liked it, he told me it has a salvage title. Flood damage, which he claims is only in the carpet area. The car seemed relatively clean, interior was about a 7/10

I did a autocheck history report and it has kind of scared me away:

04/07/2004 GA 33,121 Auto Auction AUCTION ANNOUNCED AS FLEET/LEASE

11/03/2010 CORPUS CHRISTI, TX 85,928 Motor Vehicle Dept. TITLE
JUNK VEHICLE
SALVAGE
WATER DAMAGE

11/30/2010 TX 85,926 Auto Auction REPORTED AT AUTO AUCTION

01/03/2011 TEMPE, AZ 85,926 Motor Vehicle Dept. TITLE SALVAGE

02/04/2012 PHOENIX, AZ 99,114Motor Vehicle Dept.
TITLE
REGISTRATION EVENT/RENEWAL
REBUILT/REBUILDABLE
PRIOR SALVAGE

So thats the big question... will the car be a lemon? It seemed to be honestly like a dream trade. I need a car, he needed a truck. The BMW has 100k miles, no check engine light. Both the truck and the car have flaws. I understand that. The issues for me is the title/junk/salvage/flood damage.

Should I not trade him? Would it be hard for me to sell the BMW if I made this trade in later years?

Explain pro's and cons please.... what would you do?

Something in me wants to pull the trigger because I know my truck has a bent frame. I know it isn't worth much, but It is far from a POS,

thank you very much.
