I am buying Kerscher kcs wheels (8.5x18 and 10x18) for my M Roadster. I am not sure about the offsets. Roadstar wheel offsets are 41 front and 8 rear. I am thinking 39 front and 3 rear would be good?. I am also putting KW variante 3. Do i need spacers on the front? Does anywon know how wide are these wheels in the picture and what are the offsets? http://www.bmw-freunde-rn.de/_de/html/home.htm

Hi, I think 8,5" with 41 offset is ok at the front - stock is 7,5" with 41 offset as far as I know. And even the stock wheels sometimes touch the plastic inside in the front if you go hard in the corners. And anyway, too less offset isn't nics to drive at the front axle.

The stock M-Roadster wheels in the back have 9" with an offset of 8mm. In this case the Kerscher Wheels with 10" offset 8mm will stand half inch more outside... that's not much for the rear axle. I agree that you could use less offset (if available) or pur some spacers to the back wheels.

If you want to learn more about wheel upgrade & M-Roadster, the users "Roger" and "Tadzio" from this board have some experiences with 18" and 19" wheels on their ///M. Maybe you can send them a message ("PN") to ask them for their opinion and experiences.

Hope this helps!

Bye,
Uwe

Bei welcher Felgendimension braucht man diese 7mm?

Ok, dann nch einmal für unseren englischsprachigen Fragensteller ;)

Brief update: The KW Variante 3 obviously needs 7mm spacers with the stock M-Roadster wheels to gain enough distance to the springs inside the wheel house. So, if you use 8,5" front rims and stay to 41mm offset you will definitely need spacers (7mm (like stock) plus 0,5 * 1" (additionally for the Kerscher front rim)). An overall offset of 21mm may work in this case?

Bye,
Uwe
