Hi, sorry for writing in english but I am Finn and cant write Deutsche.

I designed ducts for engine intake ramair and brake cooling purposes for all Z3 (non-M) models.
It is with 76mm (3") outlet diameter and there is also dedicated hose outlet duct to engine room.

Installing the RamAir duct is very easy, just take out foglight, and use same 2 bolts to attach ramair duct in it's place. Any bendy hose or ready silicon hose with 90° corner can be used. Just tie it up with ziptie or hoseclamp.

Engine side installation put it into place:

And use one of these (sorry for rough finish of the proto part in this picture):

Hi Erik,
very interesting!
Im still waiting for a E36 Brake cooling kit (we have to try to modify the Intakes for the non-M-Z3) but I dont get any response from the seller since nearly three weeks 🙄
Do you sell these intakes?

no, I think it's just coincidentally called like the name on the logo.

What does the parts cost?

I can sell 3d printable stl files for 25€ or ready manufactured intakes 220€ shipped to germany. If you need also the engine room outlet, then total is 35€ as stl 3d-print files, or 260€ ready parts sent to germany.

Payments via paypal to my address: djremotion@hotmail.com, include your email address so you get print files when ordering or your name and address if ordering ready manufactured parts.

I dont have my own printer so I need to outsource these to manufacturing plant in sweden or finland.
Money goes towards engineering future products to Z3 / M Coupe and Roadster.

If you buy STL files for 3d printing then be prepared to fdm-print preferably ASA for OEM quality, or at minimum ABS. Also sls-printed Nylon 12 has been done and works well.

If I get more people bying I can drop prices to 205€ for pair or 245€ with the third piece. 4 or more orders at the same time and price drops for everyone. This is because I get them ordered and can lose individual packing cost from factory.

Very nice Parts , but I think the most people need more Cooling for the discs , this ram air is ok , but in germany it is this a Problem with an open (isolated space ) Airfilter ........

Hi Erik,
that's a very good idea. I started a similar design some years ago, but never finalized it.
Sent the payment via Paypal including my e-mail adress.
Maybe you can send a step file aswell, so I can set the printing resolution to my purposes.
Martin

Files sent, thanks Martin.

pat.zet most people use these for brake disc cooling. It is simply a funnel with 76mm connector for any hose, and can be routed where best suited.
Note the Carbone M - carbon fiber divider wall that I have. Filter needs to be enclosed in a way or another from heat sources and to keep positive pressure going to intake.
For example BMC and ITG sell completely enclosed high end filter for our cars.

My solution: Carbon Divider wall

Whats the Price for this Divider wall?

?
Cause the AFE is built for the M52 engine (singel Vanos )
I try to install it in a M52 TU, but the AFE Separater box is some cm to high, the hood do not close without a Contact, and I don´t want to cut it........
I search for another Option to get a better cutable Box , to place the filter like the mount in the AFE Box
Or AFE :IMG_4403.JPGIMG_4403.JPGIMG_4407.JPGIMG_4405.JPGIMG_4401.JPGScreenshot_2019-03-17 54-11951-is pdf.pngScreenshot_2019-03-17 54-119512is pdf.png

I paid close to 400€ for it. It is made by Carbone M in France.

I am not stranger for making carbon fiber myself.
As all of my trunk etc is molded and made from it, but did not care to tackle it this summer at all:

No, this is only for Z3, although also fits E39 <97 year.

Looks great. Could you please post a link to this company? I don´t find them through google search.

And also which caps do you have above the upper suspension strut mount? Looks also great!

Rear shock access hatches are also my design and machined from aluminium and stainless. I don't even try to sell them. For some reason couple hundred euros for any improvement seems to be too much. In my opinion last thing Z3 Coupe interior needs is more cheap plastics. But yeah it is cool to get to my shocks in 5 seconds and close them back up just as fast. No additional noises in cabin.

I have now a few new pairs available for sale.
I guess you are talking about the ram air ducts but not the rear shock access hatches, right? Because those hatches are awesome. I sill need a solution for my Coupe. What's the diameter of the opening?

Jetzt muss sich @_hen mal auf einen Schlauch festlegen, dann geht es weiter😁

Frage an alle: welche Länge braucht man denn mindestens? Weiß das jemand?
Sammelbestellung?
