Einer der wichtigsten Gründe, warum ich mir den Z4 angelegt habe ist das dieses Jahr habe ich vor auf der California Pacific Coastal Highway zu fahren von LA nach Seattle. Das beigefügte Video-Clip und Kommentar trifft den Nagel auf den Kopf, warum ich mir den 3.5i angelegt habe er ist im vergleich so gut wir mein früherer 2002 M3.

(One of the major reasons I've got myself the Z4 will be this year I will drive the California Pacific Coastal Highway. The attached video clip and commentary hits the nail right on the head why I got myself the 3.5i it is as good as my previous 2002 M3).

Surely a stunningt road :) My problem with such place is, that in videos, they're always free of traffic. Then you go there and there's a bunch of idiot kids in a Ford Focus trying to push you off the road in your back, while the front's populated with geriatric speedbumps. Sigh....

I can't resist to show you what I like driving here. You do the magnifiscent coast, I do the other of the two, steep places:

It's a funny video alltogether, but fast forward to 5:20 and watch till the end :)

That said I'd still love to do the coastal roads as well ... btw, what about the line in the middle.... is that a security line not allowing any overtaking?

von! Thanks so much for the link . I have to agree that the San Bernardino Pass and Stelvio Pass are properly the best roads for cars like ours the experience to drive them must be awesome. Perhaps when I pick up my next Z4 in München I'll take that road trip :)

BTW, I have most the DVD's from TopGear up to season 14 (some of them I downloaded onto my computer). I think the boys at Top Gear are great there are times I like to kick Jeramy Clarson LOL. Anyway, he did like the new 2009 Z4 3.5i and I guess that makes him alright. Enjoy your summer!

Looks like Highway 1 heading north.....did that 2 years ago when i was driving south from San Fran to LA but just halfway trough fog came up and for the last driving hour all we could see was......nothing
