So Dieter, If I understand it correctly, the only modifications done on the Z8 ever were the change of phones (?) and the colourschemes (?)
From the BMW dealer in Pressath I understand that there was a MINOR adjustment in front suspension (?) in the beginning of 2001 ?

no, there were quite substantial changes regarding the engine and the roof before the summer break 2000. The phone change happened later in 2001 AFAIK, but I don't know exactly when.

Before summer 2000 ? That was very soon after production start ! Do you know what changes exactly, or were we can find them ?

I don't have an exact list, the Club has probably more precise data. There were changes related to the VANOS, and the roof mechanism was changed, too.
