Mein 2009 Z4 35i ESS

Thanks for the warm welcome:) :-)

Yes, it`s also on the E89 zpost forum...

great job!

I have a question regarding your exhaust pipes: These are the ones from the X5? Do they fit perfectly? As far as I can see it on your pictures the angular side looks to the side and not to the bottom like on the original, right?

And do you have a picture straight from behind?

Yes they are the ones from X5 35i Facelift (2010). Yes, they fit perfect, you only have to do some welding points as the original Z4 tail pipes. And yes again, they are angled sideways. I have no pictures from straight behind:( But can give some more pics of the car:

thanks for the quick response! Is the angled-sideways-look the only one which is possible or was ist "just" your personal taste?

It is just my personal taste, but it is no problem to angle it like normal. I will soon change them anyway, have bought new pipes in same style but 100mm. This will be fitted as soon as I get my 35is bumper:) :-)

Interesting, thanks! When do you think you will have your is bumper? And would you sell your 90mm (?) pipes? Is that the part number: 18307599189

I will get my is bumper next week from paintshop. I think I will cut them off, so can`t guarantee that they will be in good shape. Better for you to buy them from your BMW dealer. The part number is correct:) :-)

Danke:) :-)

So then my rear bumper and some other parts came back from the paintshop. I wanted the 35is diffuser painted in Maserati colour to get it more visual.

Pics from the fitment:

Then i mounted my new bumper intake surroundings that are painted in the same Maserati colour:

I think the front bumper has a more Z4M feel now with the open intakes, but it was a big job to get these surroundings in a quality I was pleased with. Better pics will come :)

After that I got the rollover covers mounted in car colour matching paint. But also the alcantara covers where mounted for the first time:

And last the painted glossy black kidneys where mounted:

Congratulations, a really outstanding car especially in Norway. I`ve been there for several times in the last years, but never had seen a Z4.
Which region do you come from?

Greetings from switzerland.

That`s really nice:t

I come from a Region Called Telemark, and the city is Skien. It`s 1,5 hours south of Oslo.

Thumbs up. Very nice job! I really appreciate such a detailed project. It seems you have a plan :) :-)

black non metallic and gray metallic is a very nice combination! I like that...
best regards,

Joachim

I looked for it on a map, i haven`t been there yet, but in Sandefjord some years ago and at several other places in Telemark, also on a mountain called Gautastoppen.
Last year we have been in Balestrand at the Sognefjord and in Olden at the Nordfjord and visited highlights like Geiranger, Dalsnibba, Jostedalsbreen, Galdhoppigen, Trollstigen., Bergen....., fantastic.
But we travelled not with the Z4 but with the TCar, because of all that hiking and fishing-stuff.

Oh, thats really nice. My family have a cabin close to Gaustatoppen. I have not been on all those places you are telling about, but I think they are great places to visit in Norway.

Have once been in Switzerland, but just in Geneva on the car exhibition:) :-)

Would be a nice journey with your fantastic looking Z4 in summer to visit the norwegian westcoast. Some roads there are really fantastic, are especially named as "touristvägen" with viewing points...Some day I will return with an open sportscar.:D
The Geneva Car exhibition is next week, I will be there like every year.
Is it your job to work with cars, your hall and workingplace looks so professional?

Yes, I was asked if I would join a Z meeting in the city Bergen in 3 weeks time. But it`s too much snow driving on summer tires over the mountain now, so I have to consider a little bit:) :-)

That`s a really nice car show... Your lucky to live that close.

Yes, the pictures is taken in our workshop in Skien, but I work at the workshop and showroom in our Oslo department. We are the official Ferrari/Maserati/Bentley dealer of Norway:D

I think it`s better in the summer, when the fantastic mountain roads are open. It is the same like here, there`s so much snow this winter, i think the high Pass-roads will open not before june:(.

So, at me next holiday in Norway i visit you in Oslo an buy me a Ferrari:D.
What is the price for a 458 in Norway in Euro?
( I ask, because i have seen the price of a Porsche Boxster in a car magazine, I could not believe it:j)

I think you will be better off buying the 458 in Switzerland:) :-)

A nice but not over equipped 458 Italia will cost you approx: 420 000Euros:crynew:

Some new better quality pics as promised:) The car is for the moment on winter wheels:(

I did a badge mod I think its not everybody's taste, but to me its looks better than the SDrive 35i badge that was there before. I just bought the M135i badge and trowed away the 1:)
