Thats nice to hear. Yes its an reason for the glossy look I have water-sanded the whole car with 1500 and 2500 paper. Then polished it up with a machine. Have used different products as Mirka, Meguiars, and swisswax...

Hm, certainly an interesting car you got there. I wouldn't have known if I like black rims on a gray car before, but I must admit, it kind of looks nice. But I wonder if at some point I'd get sick of it? I guess it's something I have to think about once the white car I ordered is ready, even though black on white might turn out to be a bit harsh for my taste ... but I'll be out of budget for a little while I guess :) As for the modifications: There's always the ever ongoing "Why didn't you just buy the larger model?" question, but I like such individual cars. It'll be a dang rare bugger for sure :) The wax used is bloody stunning! Swissvax as you said? Which one?

Use of sandpaper smooths out the structure of the paint, producing a mirror gloss finish. The only danger is to grind through the clearcoat....

That's cause people think sandpaper is only available in the wood finish qualities at home. There's extremely fine grained sandpaper not much worse than some liquid polish.

Nice car you have ordered, I have used the Swissvax Paint cleaner Proffessional and the Concorso wax..

Thanks. Mmh ... concorso .. pricey... :) But maybe worth it, considering the fantastic gloss you have on your really shiny car.... :) Guess I have to try some sample on a white car... white paint seems not exactly gloss enhancing.

Im sorry, but the Scuderia is faster than the Z4, we where just gliding past each other

The Scuderia has over 200hp more and has the same weight....

That’s sort of what I thought…

When you have a car with a speedometer indicating 120 kmh in the 09.00 position and a top speed of 360 kmh something has to give.

Anyway, it was a good set of pictures and a hilarious posting.

Some updates have been done this summer also A new suspension from KW (V3) has been fitted the car, and I post you some pics

Finally I got the new seats installed:) BMW Performance seats

I had to change the brackets for the seat and seatbelt to make it fit.... I also removed the airbags, so a new cover is ordered for the side of the seats...
