The Performance seats are looking good inside the Z4. You had to customize the mountings?

Tim

Yes, I had to customize the mountings a bit:) The seat mountings on the Performance seats are narrower than original Z4, so made some brackets to get them to fit....

Hi .. your car looks really perfect, the M-bumper is awesome, especially with the splitters, as you get that done?
Wish you have fun with your beautiful car!

Thank you:t

The splitters are made like this:

The splitters I used is an replica from E46 GTR. I got them from an local dealer in Norway, but its possible to get them elsewhere...
I cutted the splitters to fit the bumper, and they suits the shape of the M bumper very well.
After that I grinded and sanded the edges that I cut for a nice finish. This is not that important, because its hard to see this part of the splitter(Wanted it perfect)
And last screwed the splitters to the bumper underside..

On the picture you can see where its cutted. I used the short end of the splitter for my bumper.

Thanks:t I will soon post some pics of the car with the BBS track wheels....

Some pics of the Z4 with BBS motorsport replica track wheels on. They are 8,5 and 9,5 -18". Tires are Kumho Ecsta MX semislick.

I think it looks a little boring with these wheels....

Hey,

thats a nice car.
But i think the first Version of your car with the black wheels is much better!

best regards

Hi,

the car looks awesome - no doubt!
But - sorry for slightly disagreeing with your taste - there are some mods that just don´t complement the car (my opinion - please no offense!):

- Footrest (just not fitting correctly)
- Nürburgring sticker (naaaaahhhhh....)
- Orange for the Text of the Carpets (keep the interieur black/carbon - thats a really nice theme put together)
- 6-Speed shift-knob on a 5-speed gearbox (or did I miss an Upgrade somewhere?)
- M Badges &:

Everything else is really nice!
Oh and the black wheels looked better ;)

Just my 2ct

Hi and thanks for comments.

We all have different taste, thats for sure;)

-The foot rest looks ok to me, the alcantara bits looks good and the pedals have the same brushed aluminium. Look at the 3 series, its not fitted that much better and the pedals hasen`t any match to the footrest.

-Nürburgring sticker is an opinion on taste, better than glue it back to the car:)
-Carpets is also a taste question..
-6-Speed shift-knob is because I have a Z4M gearbox not a 5 speed:D, its my latest mod, will be pictures of that one later:)
-M badges, I have the M badge because I have tried to do a M Clubsport version of the Z4. I`m sure you know that the E46 was available as a M clubsport version. That one had the M54 engine and the M badge.

Last, the wheels. The silver wheels is only my track wheels, and I still have the black Breytons and the grey 18"
BBS replica winter wheels. But I totaly agree that they looking a little boring compared to the 19" Breytons.

Its nice that someone disagree, it helps my z4 to turn out better:t

Great car and again, we see how important nice alloys are - they change the character of the car. I go for the black ones :-)
