New Exhaust System

Beginning from the rear of the headers on the Alpina (with a non Alpina where space exists for meaningful design improvement, beginning with the headers), the first test pieces of the new exhaust system -- better flow, better sound and weight reduction of 70+ pounds (31.75+ kg). Note that pieces are only temporaily welded and that certain test fit sections will become continuous 321 stainless steel tubing in final version of system. Also: (1) new lightweight exhaust system hangers not yet in evidence and (2) rear subframe mounted black steel "washers/hangers" have been replaced with aluminum pieces as they will no longer be required as exhaust hangers.

P.S. We considered titanium final mufflers and tailpipes put this would have rerquired Marman clamps between titanium and steel such that the net weight savings was less preferable than the durability of 321.
