Grüsse euch,
habe ja mein Auto vor einiger Zeit verkauft (M Coupe) und der neue Besitzer (habe immer noch guten Mailkontakt mit ihm) hat mir folgendes gemailt:
"About the M, and after several hours of researching I discover that the oil
that you use is not the correct oil. :|
There are 3 specs for the Mcoupe. S50 (that you sell me) with 321cv, the S52
(US Version) with 240cv, and the S54 with 325cv (same engine that equip the
actual M3).
The Castrol TWS 10W60 is recommended ONLY to the S54 engine. The S50 use
Castrol RS 0W40.
After lots of reading I found that even BMW dealers confuse the oils, and
some use the 0W40 and others the 10W60.
But these 2 oils are very different, so I decide to speak with a friend of
mine, that work on Renault here. He is a speccialist on these questions. He
explain to me that bmw change some internal components to use the much more
thicker oil that 10W60 is.
Using this oil in the S50 in long term can even damage the engine.
So I change all the oil filters and put the Castrol 0W40, and I imediatly
notice a quiter sound of the engine, and it feels quicker reving.. It can be
just a sensation.. but it feels quicker
"
Das heisst also: das TWS 10 60 ist falsch gewesen???
Was meint ihr?
Grüsse,
Armin
