I`m now close to completion, just doing some finishing touches these days:)

So used the weekend very well, and wet sanded the whole car. Hood got 1500 grind, then 3000. Rest of the body just 3000, wanted to have som clear to play with later

Thanks, its a lot smoother.. As 3000 grid is a little mild to remove all orange peel. But hood looks great now, since I used 1500 grid first.

Habe den Tuner angeschrieben.
Angeblich haben Sie einen E90 330i mit verbautem Kit und einer Laufleistung von 50Tkm seit Umbau.
Er hat mir auch Leistungsdiagramme geschickt.
Umbaukosten mit TÜV 7700€.
Ich denke es dürfte die günstigere Lösung sein, das Kit aus den USA zu bestellen und selber zu verbauen.
Laut ESS ist der Umbauaufwand überschaubar und auch die Software wird mitgeliefert."

Weiß egtl. jemand was das für "Ecken" sind, die der TE unter der M Front seines Roadsters (nicht QP) hat? Ich suche verzweifelt nach einer Möglichkeit die "Ecken" an der M Front irgendwie vor einem Aufsetzen zu schützen, aber irgendwie finde ich nichts außer die nicht legalen Metalldinger aus UK, die man drunter schrauben kann.

So finally here is the pics of my new Mstache carbon splitter and Tekarbon carbon spoiler.

I wanted the splitter to stand out just a little more, so I did a pinstripin to it :)

The easy way had been doing a vinyl pinstripe, but I wanted a painted pinstripe. So I bought some red vinyl and used it as a marker for the fineline masking tape

Great project and amazing looking Z4!

You now are running the car with the compressor kit for more than one year.
Could you share your experience with this setup? How many KM did you do with the car? What's your impression regarding driveability, gained power but also regarding fuel consumption or maybe even detectable wear on some components?
Based on your experience, would you consider the kit as adequate for a daily summer driver?

Would be great to receive some feedback,

Also got me some new front control arms. They are Z4 M-sport for track use.

can you please give me details about that parts? Did you mount original BMW-Parts or is it something else?

Before I drove the Z to ESS, I got the time to mount my new brakes :)

After fresh paint, the logo was oversprayed and sealed with some clear coat.

New rotors mounted

Cover mounted to caliper and spring

How did you do the logo this way after painting the brakes? Did you disassemble the brake itself?

Schreibt er doch: Wahrscheinlich Aufkleber und dann nochmal neu Klarlack drüber. Die Blende ist von Mercedes.

Before I drove the Z to ESS, I got the time to mount my new brakes :)

This is the parts used:

Front:

-Original Bmw Performance calipers
-Original Bmw M3 CSL rotors
-Original Bmw Performance brake pads
-Special made brackets for caliper made to fit Z4

Rear:

-Original Bmw 3.0Si calipers
-PF drilled rotors
-Original brake pads
-Mercedes E-Class caliper covers

Those front performance brake calipers was not a great match to my new paintjob, so I decided to paint them Lamborghini Rosso Mars 3 stage red.
As I kept the original rear caliper, I had to do those as well.

Rear brakes:

Those rear brakes was not that good

To get a nice finish on the rear caliper, I grinded them smooth, a work from hell

After the pro paint job

To give those rear calipers a nicer look, I modificated a Mercedes E-class brake cover

After fresh paint, the logo was oversprayed and sealed with some clear coat.

Weiß jemand zufällig, ob es eine passende Blende/ Kappe auf für den vorderen Sattel gibt?

Vielleicht auch von Mercedes ?
