This is how it looks at this stage of mods done to it, more to come;)

The colour it`s a little bit darker at the pics than in real life :(

Looks great so far...

It's nice looking and well done, but a lot of M for not being an M. I assume an M might even cost less than a 3.0si with all those parts and efforts. I like individually tuned cars if they're looking creative and unique in the end. Of course the colour and some details are decent, but the overall looks stays just like a simple M. Maybe the engine is better basis for turbo charged tuning than the S54, not sure.

Nicke car!

And I'm sorry for my bad English.

This part is standard for the option "Leather New England" for BMW-AG E85/86.

The supercharger system is very interesting. :t But what's about a limited slip differential (LSD)?

Yes, I hear this every time I modding a car. First: I think it is wrong messing with a original M car. Second: This one is 150kg lighter than a Z4M. Third: The taxes in Norway is crazy on big engines with high Co2 emisions. A 3.0Si costing 30 000 Euros, Z4M costing 50 000 Euros. Firth: I'm not finished yet ;)

Ok, that is the nappa leather option, isn't it?

Yes, a quaife LSD will be on my mod list. Maby in spring time, since the car will be sitting in the garage all winter.

Afaik is "New England" Nappa-leather.

I've got a Quaife too, but without supercharger. But will the Quaife work with such more power? Do you know any details?

Ok, thanks

How is the difference with the LSD? I think it will handle it, can't see why. These are strong parts:)

In this and the following post I wrote about it. I'm sorry but my english is too bad for a translation.

I'm not sure how strong the Quaife-parts are.

As far as Dieter has a quaife in his Z8 - I guess, it should be able to handle more than 400hp ;-)

I thougt that Quaife got different types of LSD for the various differentiales with single part numbers/IDs.

It absolutely amazing what you are doing. I've a really beautiful QP, but now it's looking boring compared to yours! :(:D

Keep on posting your modding progress!!!

Alcantara headliner mod:

Have done some alcantara work over the years. But not as big and difficult as this.

I used original alcantara in colour shade 9002

The A and B pillars was pretty easy and simular to what I have done before.

The roof section was hard and took a lot of work to be perfect.

I had to split it in three sections because of the curved shapes of the headliner

Sunvisor will have to be retrimmed, so will do that later with my steeringwheel :)

Never seen a alcantara headliner on a Z4 Coupe, was it possible to get as an option?

Bought me some small, but nice parts :D

My Z looks like an Z4M now, but I don`t want the M badges. So have sold the M steering wheel trim to StigJ on this forum. Then bought me some Individual parts :P

Very nice! [emoji3] Do you have a part number for the black plate on the shift knob? Did you have to glue it on?
