Meine 3.0Si Individual projekt

What did they say how many hours they Need for install? Cause the Kit Looks easy to install on Pictures.
I just dont know about the mapping. Hope you stay without any error Motor codes...

Do you have a Performance/ Drift Box? It would be very interesting to see times (100-200km/h)

The kit is not bolt on for a Z4, it is made for a e90 3 series. Some modifications is needed, so my car is an mole for ESS. Is their first N52 Z4 install.

Stage 1+ dyno run at 0,35 bar

Yes 265hp at the engine, but not at the wheels. I think the Graph shows the Wheel hp. So he is about 330hp at the engine now. Am I right?

That's what I thought. An LSD is a good modification but the steering is not that bad to have it replaced. And you stated already, the costs won't justify the benefits.

The installation;)

There was no space for the airfilter to be mounted in front of the supercharger. So ESS have buildt a new steel tube before the airfilter, they have also changed the supercharger belt position vs E90 setup. Having electronic steering, it also have a different belt. Can not feel any heat soak, but will try to run a cooling line to the air filter soon.
The air have a shorter way into the supercharger now. That gives more power if it's not running to hot.

Actually it is spot on, this is wheel ps. And the drivetrain loss is 15% on this dyno.

So 224/0.85= 263.5ps
A little more than that. 294.8/0.85= 347ps at the engine. So more ps than a Z4M, and it's more than 100kg lighter :)

I'm not so sure about this calculation. The drivetrain loss should be a fixed figure. So it needs to be added to the new engine power. I think the 3,0Si has a drivetrain loss of 42-45PS. So this leaves you with 296.4+45=341PS

If put your calculation up for my car, it would have 365PS, but it's "only" 356PS ;)

I`m not totally convinced, the drivetrain loss is not a fixed figure. Take a BMW E60 M5 for example, on this dyno it only gives 420PS. The more power you have, the more drivetrain loss. It is ESS them self that calculate like this, all other tuners also do...

Depends on the gear in which they have made the run.

Done some new installs to the Z again :P

The rear H&R adjustable sway bar... I allreay have mounted the 27mm Z4M front sway bar. Poly bushing to the front and rear sway bars as well.

The rear sway was adjusted to it's firmest setting, making it more oversteered for some drifts :D

Also got me some new front control arms. They are Z4 M-sport for track use. Stiffer bushings and a little different angles. Don't know how much, but will do a new alignment soon. Then I can see if there are some changes to the stock ones :D
