Ted: Is it still possible to download the local file of the newest firmware? I don't have wifi access in my garage, so I can't use the online update, even its very comfortable ofc and there seems no files on the homepage, as far as I checked. thx
Update: I'm going to do that via mobile phone hotspot, that should work, the files are not that big
Are there any concerns about upgrading directly from v1.1.18 to 1.4.33?

Regarding PDC/display of distance within the speedo: its not available directly for non navi cars (factory build). But what do I have to code for this, excactly? I guess something within the IKE, right? Is there a step by step/diy manual to do so?

I just do recognize, that there's a direct onine update available! How is this processed (as only one phone/device) can be connected? Is there any short manual for this?

You mean for the update itself? Therefore you just need to connect the bluebus to your laptop with wifi or instead laptop via wifi hotspot mobile phone and than follow the advice on the bluebus homepage. The device for the update doesn't matter, it can be any mobilephone, cause this is just to provide the internet connection to download the update files...

Well. With the iPhone it doesn't work and with a Mac (connected via BT to the BlueBus) it's not working as Chrome does not find a compatible device for a serial connection... 
Irgendwas machst du falsch. Der Laptop muss via Kabel mit dem Bluebus verbunden sein und dann stellt sich eine COM Port Verbindung ein. Nur die Internetverbindung vom Laptop soll über das Handy gehen, falls du keinen Wifi Empfang am Stellplatz hast. Du trennst am Besten die Verbindung Handy zu Bluebus.Well. Danke. Mein Fehler. Ich dachte, das das Update via Bluetooth gehen würde und ich mir das Verkabeln sparen könnte. Habe bei der Installation vergessen, mir gleich das extra dafür gekaufte USB Kabel zu platzieren 
Ich habe den Sprung im ausgebauten Zustand direkt auf 1.4.3. durchgeführt. Allerdings hat mein Bluebus danach nur geblinkt und die Prozedur hat nicht sauber abgeschlossen und wollte den Updatemodus nicht verlassen. War etwas erschrocken und hatte danach eine lokal vorhandene Version 1.3.4. auf klassischen Weg sauber aufgespielt bekommen. Habe es danach mit der 1.4.3 wieder probiert mit gleichem Ergebnis - Bluebus blinkt im Wartungsmodus, aber nach Trennung der Verbindung im Programm hat es aufgehört zu blinken. Versionscheck ergab die Version war doch auf 1.4.3. gehoben. Im Auto angeschlossen funktioniert es einwandfrei.
Fazit - nicht erschrecken, alles halb so wild.
Zu den Verbesserungen selbst:
1. PDC Anzeige im BC Feld - absolut cool, kann bis auf ca. 13 cm herunter den Abstand angezeigt bekommen
2. Auto-zoom im Navi - interesanntes Feature, aber für das träge MK4 etwas zu nervös, weil durch die vielen Wechsel der Geschwindigkeitsstufen 0-60 und dann an der Ampel wieder auf 0 ist das MK4 nur am Bildaufbau der Ansicht und zuckelt im Blickfeld herum. Eine Hysterese würde da viellecht Abhilfe schaffen.
3. Anzeige der gerade gefahrenen Geschwindigkeit, Batteriespannung, A Temp und Wasser Temp funktioniert
4. Der Telefonmodus hat sich nicht signifikant verändert. Anzeige vom Telefonbuch habe ich nicht zum laufen bekommen (Bluebus 1.0), habe es aber, ehrlich gesagt, auch nur kurz probiert.
5. Tankstellen POI funktioniert
